Rabbi Ariel Shoshan is the founding rabbi of Ahavas Torah: The Scottsdale Torah Center, a vibrant Torah community that has brought passionate, authentic, and welcoming Judaism to thousands throughout the Greater Phoenix area. Originally from Chicago, Rabbi Shoshan served as Director of the Phoenix Community Kollel before he and his wife, Ayala, founded Ahavas Torah in 2004. He has played a leading role in strengthening Jewish life across Arizona through initiatives including the Valley Eruv Project and the Esformes Family Mikvah. Rabbi Shoshan is a member of the Conference of Synagogue Rabbonim of Agudath Israel of America and serves as a volunteer chaplain for both the Scottsdale Police Department and the United States Secret Service. His popular weekly Nesivos Shalom shiur on All Parsha is a taste of the fire that warms the Scottsdale community and its thousands of annual visitors.
